With the death of frontman Bradley Nowell in 1996, the Long Beach trio Sublime suffered a huge loss, both in their personal lives and their careers. Over a decade later, the remaining members are finally starting to gain some traction. The group has a charismatic new frontman named Rome Ramirez and for the first time ever, Sublime With Rome will be releasing an album of all new material.

The L.A. hip-hop clique’s frontman Tyler the Creator will drop his next solo album, Goblin, on May 10. While to date most of Odd Future’s music, including Tyler’s debut Bastard, was made available for free online, Goblinis being released via XL Recordings in a one-album deal.
Tyler plans on 
spending less energy focusing on people who he feels don’t comprehend the music Odd Future are creating.
“Those are people who’s oblivious, and who don’t get it,” Tyler said. “I have to just stop tripping and being so aggressive and understand that the people who don’t get it are the people who’s not supposed to get it and never gonna get it, and I shouldn’t have to worry about them.”
Tyler The Creator has now joined many other hotly anticipated acts in a fashion that some may think is nothing more than a timely dupe – the Odd Future’s de facto leader’s album Goblin, backed by popular British indie XL Recordings, has leaked to the Web and it is causing a frenzy like no other.
After duping fans with fabricated leaks of his debut album adding Celine Dion songs and other humorous bits according to tweets from the Odd Future Wolf Gang leader, it seems that an official leak of the album has hit the web and rabid fans have snatched it up to dissect the release – yet some supportive OFWGKTA fans are defiantly refusing to download the leaks until the album’s official May 10 release.
The Beastie Boys have released a new album, Hot Sauce Committee Part Two, the hip-hop trio’s eighth in 25 years
MCA took to the group’s website on March 13 to share the news.
After years of waiting while the band experimented in different generes and watching as Adam “MCA” Yauch fought off a cancerous tumor, the semnial rap trio has announced a release date for their newest album
“Since the dawn of time, and perhaps even before, there was a silent order who were tasked with a mission. They held their secret tightly. On may 3rd the HOT SAUCE COMMITTEE PART TWO will be unleashed on the general public. Hold fast ye heathens,” he wrote.

Bloodbath, Soul Assassins, and Tradition have joined forces to create the So(ul)ciety Collection. This collection is based upon the concept of three forces joining together to create one larger being. The So(ul)ciety Collection is represented symbolically by an equilateral triangle denoting a Triad or an alliance dominated by three powerful elements.
The equilateral triangle is considered the most perfect of figures, and a representative of the great principle of animated existence. Each side of the triangle refers a code in the brotherhood – That of The Blood, The Soul, and The Tradition.
The Blood symbolizes the moral order as well as the purification of the member of the alliance.
The Soul is the spiritual principle embodied in the members of the So(ul)ciety. This Moral force will continue on into the after life.
The Tradition is the rituals and beliefs that are followed and passed down within this So(ul)ciety. These beliefs originated in the past and were transmitted through time by being taught by one generation to the next.
The equilateral triangle appears to have been adopted by nearly all the nations of antiquity as a symbol of the Deity. This divine symbol, represents the indivisible force that have brought these three separate groups together to form one powerful entity. The symbolism of the triangle is also linked with the sacred number 3. Number three expresses all aspects of creation, including birth life and death, past present and future, mind body and soul, and man woman and child.
The So(ul)ciety collection represents the individual strength of the brands involved as well as the strength of three entities uniting for the greater good.
This collection will only be offered to hand selected group of accounts and will be available in May 2011
