The West Wing on Shade45/XM66 remains dedicated to bringing you an up close and personal look at music through the lenses of the legendary Grandmixer DJ Muggs of Soul Assassins and World Famous Beat Junkie Mr. Choc. On this week’s show, Muggs put on a multi-genre clinic on how to be a DJ with an amazing set of all things great from past to present. Spanning Hip Hop, Funk, Old School, Breaks, and Classics, Muggs took the listeners on a ride like only he can, while Choc provided commentary and reminisced about some of hip hop’s greatest releases. The duo also played Gang Starr classics to honor the passing of Hip Hop legend Guru, who will be missed by all who truly love Hip Hop, including us here at Soul Assassins. From live interviews, on-air freestyles, classics, new releases, and never-before-heard demos, The West Wing always delivers, so tune in Monday nights from 8-10pm to rock with the best. West West.
